Mount Board is suitable for the mounting
of a variety of artwork, textiles and photographs.
Due to its rigid construction, NuCor®
is particularly well suited for any mounting project
that requires a warp-resistant, smooth substrate.
NuCor®
can be easily cut using standard cutting tools,
such as handheld utility knife blades.
NuCor®
Plain Uncoated has been successfully used
with most drymount tissues. NuCor®
will not warp or degrade when subjected to heats
that are normally employed with mounting or laminating
tissues.
NuCor®
Black has a solid black core with heavy
black cap sheets providing a smooth mounting surface
and finished presentation.
NuCor®
Pressure Sensitive is ideal for photographs
or resin coated posters which are sensitive to heat
and would possibly be damaged using a heat activated
mountboard. NuCor®
Pressure Sensitive is an alternative which still
provides a permanent high quality bond.
NuCor®
Heat Activated is available with a pre-coated
adhesive suitable for use in most mounting presses.
In order to achieve a perfect mount, preheat the
mounting press to 180 degrees. Place the item to
be mounted on the NuCor®
mountboard and cover with a clean release sheet.
The dwell time for NuCor®
is only 20-30 seconds. Let the mounted product cool
to achieve a permanent bond.
