SEAMLESS PAPER SALES ARE GROWING
The do-it-yourself trend has crossed over to the photographic industry. The combination of Ebay-style internet product sales and home-studio style photography has boosted sales of Seamless Background Paper.

The cat is out of the bag, background paper is no longer just for the professional. Amateur photographers are learning the secret to professional, studio-looking photos by using Seamless Background Paper.
Items are more visually appealing when photographed on a simple color backdrop created with Seamless Background Paper rather than a busy or cluttered table or photo area. The smooth-tooth, non-glare finish of the paper makes the photographed item stand out.

The scrapbook and craft industry are also driving a need for home mini-photo studios for photographing everything from art, crafts, children, pets and documentation of any item in or around the home. TECH GREEN OR STUDIO BLUE - GREAT FOR DIGITAL BACKGROUNDS
The digital wave is responsible for the sales growth of Tech Green and Studio Blue colors of Savage’s Widetone® Seamless Background Paper. Using either color allows simple, easy and cost effective changes of background for photographers and designers.

Using a digital image from a digital or manual camera photo and working with photo manipulating software on a computer or scanner it is fast and easy.




Tech Green and Studio Blue colors allow for easy selection to separate the background from the focus of the photo. With the background selected and separated, the color can be changed or replaced with a photo.

Alabama, to increase overall matboard production and better service Savage’s East Coast and Southern regions of the United States.

A FAMILIAR FACE: Getting to know Savage Customer Service Rep. Alana Tressa
Alana Tressa has spent the last 13 years working for Savage. She has lived in the Phoenix area for the last 30 years and has seen a lot of changes in Phoenix along with changes at Savage.

Alana has held several positions for Savage in these 13 years and is now currently working in the Equipment Division, helping and watching it grow through the dealers and the dropship program. Her current duties include processing orders, communicating with dealers and photographers, invoicing and maintaining equipment records. She enjoys the teamwork and friendships at Savage. Alana also fills in other positions when needed.

When she is not at work she enjoys time with her family, taking classes and working with alternative healing.
